Qatch continues to grow at the University of Münster
As part of the third handball trend game course for future sports teachers, the Institute for Sports Science at the University of Münster successfully hosted a qatch mini cup with four teams on 20 February 2022.
For the first time, the trend game course dealt with the handball trend game "qatch" intensively and exclusively over two days, focusing not only on the history of the game, but also on the methodology as well as training concept and game itself which led to a mini cup. The course, originally planned as an excursion to Budapest, was held on a weekend in Münster instead and was held by Axel Binnenbruck, a sports teacher and lecturer. As part of the course, the students will take a practical and theoretical exam in March, and in the summer of 2022, a beach qatch tournament is planned to be held at the University of Münster's sports campus for the first time in Germany.
